My Core Commitment: Blog Daily

So being an affiliate marketer requires a commitment, a commitment to changing your life by making money however and whenever you want, online. For me that means starting by blogging daily. At the moment I am an affiliate marketer of the Empower Network, which means that I sell their products and earn a commission. Basically the Empower Network is an online course, delivered in different stages. It is a course to teach you how to market online, whether you are selling the Empower Network courses, or any other product that you wish to sell.

See almost every company that is trading online has affiliates that are working for them, sending traffic to the company’s website, and these affiliates earn a commission, usually a percentage of what the person buys. For example walmart’s affiliates earn 2-4%, which isn’t much when you are talking about buying a household item, or xbox game. The good thing about Empower Network is that you earn 100% commissions. That means that every sale you get, all of the money goes to you. The way that the people above you make money is that every 6th sale gets passed up to the person that signed you up.

Anyway, back to the original point, the main commitment that the course teaches you early on, is to blog daily. You want to get traffic to your site, because traffic is converted into sales. The best way to get traffic is getting google to send people your way, and google loves content. So the more content you have on your page, the more google will pay attention to it. So your first commitment is to blog daily, and this will increase the content on your site, so google will pay more attention to it, and send more traffic your way.

So because I want to succeed at this and grow my business a lot quicker, I am committing to blogging at least twice a day, and more if possible.

Because I want to live on a beach somewhere, and I don’t want to have to work a regular 9-5 job, and I want to be my own boss. So if this is something that interests you, and you would like to learn more about being an affiliate marketer then click here.

44 Bodyweight Exercises

Here is some crazy man that has compiled 44 bodyweight exercises. Basically this video begins with some exercises that are pretty basic, and then progress on to some very difficult and technical ones. These bodyweight exercises are incredible to watch and some of them are certainly above my level, but it gives you something good to aim for. Bodyweight exercises are a great place for people to get started if they are too shy or lazy to get into a gym, they are exercises that can be done at home, and are a good starting place. Anyway hope you enjoy the video.

Funny Ski Crash

This is this kids first attempt at hitting a jump on skiis. Good on him for trying, but maybe something smaller and more forgiving would have been better for the first attempt. I can sympathise too, I’ve had many a crash on the snow, and it doesn’t tickle. Check it out.

Book Review: Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

Rich Dad Poor Dad gives you the basic education about money that you should have received in school. Robert Kiyosaki teaches in the simplest way possible about the differences of assets and liabilities and how a balance sheet works. He also teaches the basics of real estate and investing.

The book is very educational and fun to read because he tells it like a story and it is definitely not like reading a book in school. He explains financial concepts in a way full of life and excitement by replacing the numbers with pictures and metaphors.

In the start of the book he tells the story of his two dads. One was his real dad who was highly educated and he calls him his “Poor Dad”. The other was his best friend’s dad, who was an entrepreneur with very little school education. He was the one he calls his “Rich Dad”.

He learned from both but he is sharing the struggle he had as a kid to choose between two very different ways of dealing with money. He chose to learn from the “Rich Dad” and it is his teachings and principles Robert Kiyosaki is passing on to us. His “Rich Dad” became one of the richest men in Hawaii by building up his own company.

I learned a lot of basics in the book, and I will definitely use it again.

I warmly recommend this book to anyone who likes to get the basics right.
