I Love Spring!!

So yesterday it was a sunny 19C degrees (66F), which is pretty awesome for early April. Especially living in the mountains, in Whistler, British Columbia. It is so good living up here, the air is clean, the people are awesome, and the scenery is breath taking.

Anyway we went for a quick snowboard, and met up with some friends at a small pub right at the top of the mountain. Not a cloud in the sky, warm enough to just wear a tank top and still loads of snow around to shred, now that’s my idea of a perfect spring day!!

My Australian Holiday

So as some of you know I went to Australia to surprise my friends at their wedding. It had been about 3.5 years since I have been home, so it was a great chance to catch up with everyone, as well as visit the family.

The weather was great, and the surprise for my friends was even better.

I just feel very lucky that I was able to pay for the whole trip just from money that I have made blogging (for more info click here)

Headed to Sydney for the Wedding

The time has come.

I flew all the way from Canada to Australia to surprise my buddy at his wedding, and I am about to leave to get the train to Sydney to meet him now.

He still doesn`t know that I am coming, in fact I told him last night that I definitely wasn`t going to be there, and I could tell he was pretty disappointed. It will be awesome to see the look on his face and everyone elses when I show up, especially considering I haven`t been home in about 3.5 years.

Anyway wish me and my liver good luck!!

Awesome Aussie Holiday

So stoked to be home, just look at that view!!

Its nice to go from about 1 Celsius in Canada, to 29 here in Australia. Managed to get the flight ok, everything went smoothly, except that the flight was over 15 hours, with no stops. Luckily I managed to sleep for a long portion of that.

Took the jetski out today, and it was awesome, the water was like glass. I’m definitely looking forward to some more sunny days, some golf, and then the wedding on saturday. As some of you know I just booked this trip out here at the last minute, about a week ago.

There is no way I would have been able to afford this with the income from my old job, making money online has definitely paid for this trip and will pay for many more in the future!! And to think, less than 2 months ago I had no idea what I was doing online about from checking facebook haha.

Last Minute Trip to Australia, Why Not??

So I decided yesterday to book a flight to Australia. Why, you ask? Well I haven’t been home in over 3 years (I currently live in Canada), and one of my best mates is getting married.

The best part is that I haven’t really told anyone that I am coming back, just the family. So I am going to rock up at the wedding completely unannounced and just freak everyone out. I am really looking forward to it

While I haven’t really missed Australia that much in the 3 years that I have been away, since I booked the trip I have realised that I actually really miss the beach. I miss everything about it, the smell, the sound, the way the sand feels beneath your toes. So I am really stoked to be going to get some of this again, even if it is only for a week. The beach below is the beach closest to my house!!
