So I have had my girlfriend in town for the past week, and we went up snowboarding today. Whistler is such a great resort to go skiing at, and I’m lucky to live here. Anyway she is a little bit of a beginner so we took it easy, but because Whistler is so large there is plenty of room to ride some easy slopes.
They have these little birds here called Whisky Jacks, and they are super cute and very inquisitive and not scared at all really, if you put food out on to your hand they will fly right in and land on you, a fun little thing to do at lunch 
Been skiing once and had the best time of my life. You’ve made me nostalgic now and I really want to go again. Those birds are so cute. Amazing how brave they are. What a wonderful time.

Here in the UK we are very unlucky for otuisde events, usually the rain means hiring a marque even in July, it’s just not worth the risk.And as for skiing, one mountain in Scotland is all we have
