So I have been getting a lot of questions from people about how I can afford to do so much travelling, or to live in such a beautiful place as Whistler, Canada.

 

I can do all these things without living on a shoestring budget because I make an extra income on the side, by blogging. I’m going to share with you how I make money from home, whenever I want.

 

I don’t usually share this with other people I know in my regular day to day life unless they are open minded with the concept I am about to share with you. But by the shear fact that you are still reading you have already proved that you are not like most people. I know that you will see this as an amazing opportunity to earn an extra income on the side, especially if you are already blogging.

Its really up to YOU.

How I Make Money

Basically for a few hours a week I am an affiliate marketer for the Empower Network. Affiliate marketing makes a free life possible, and the best bit?? ANYONE CAN DO IT.

 

The amount of time that you put in is up to you, personally I just do this part time, but you can do it full time if that is what you want. Imagine just working for yourself, no more 9-5 with 2 weeks holiday per year. I currently live in a ski resort, I have other friends living in Thailand, and others living in Bali, all making money when they want through affiliate marketing.

 

Like I said, currently I am doing this part time, but I am in the process of turning this into my full time business. As you can see below, I am earning a decent amount at the moment, I even occasionally have $1000 days.

Living off my laptop from wherever I want to be in the world has always been a dream of mine and now myself and a couple of friends are turning this into a reality.

This is not a way to “get rich quick”. It takes dedication and hard work in the beginning, but the life it allows me to live is amazing.

    • let me clarify, I didn’t say “easy money”, I said “extra money, the easy way”. I do put a lot of work into this, but the amount of work certainly doesnt compare to having a second job. This method is certainly easier than any other way I have tried so far.

      • When it comes to earning any income, I’m all for breaking the convention of devoting your life to a full-time job that makes somebody else much more money than it makes you. I like your way better, Glenn! You’re making money on your terms and directly reaching out and helping others in the process. Keep it up!

    • Ah I see you are in with Herbalife, how is that working for you? I personally don’t like the network marketing because I don’t like having to talk to friends and family and get them involved. I much prefer doing everything online where people that are interested seek ME out instead of me looking for them.     • What company are you working with? I don’t believe it is too good to be true, I have worked hard and it is definitely paying off for me. I believe it comes down to 2 things: hard work, and being in an affiliate program that will support you instead of just taking your money.

        • Well the good thing about internet marketing is that you can do it as much or as little as you please. I am doing it part time at the moment, with the aim to make it full time eventually. And frankly I find internet marketing, and the life that it can give me very interesting.

    • Hi Laura, I am only doing this part time at the moment. You get out exactly what you put in. Some people I know are doing it full time and making amazing amounts of money. I am happy doing part time, but I am still making some great money.

  81. Does this involve luring people to use their credit card to pay that $25, which would then be charged monthly instead of being a one-time payment? That’s how you make extra money the easy way?

    • No haha I don’t do any “luring”. We teach people how to market effectively online and then work with legitimate businesses to sell their products to people that want them.

      • So are you helping Empower Network sell their products (which teach people to market effectively online), thus you earn by ‘converting’ people into buyers / customers of EN? Pardon my probing, because you’re the 2nd guy I’ve encountered whose site talks about earning money from blogging and I almost signed up as a member of EN under the 1st guy until I read the fine print at the credit card details entry page, that it isn’t a one-time payment but acts like a monthly subscription (which looks like an easy way to leech money off those who don’t read fine print). And then I just googled ‘affiliate marketing’ so now I’m curious which legitimate business you’re helping to sell products for as I don’t see any other thing on your blog which points to such legitimate business, except for EN.

        • Yep one of the companies I work for is EN, and you are right, it is a monthly subscription (its not in the fine print, it is stated very clearly through the sign up process, and can be cancelled any time). Affiliate marketing is not for everyone and I realise that, it has just helped me out a lot and I know it can help other people too :)

          • Well I would like to know whether it is for me before I sign up. It’s just that I see you and the other guy talking about how you manage to live the life of your dreams by joining EN but I don’t see either of you talking about or giving at least a sketch about what signing up with EN entails. Yes, first you sign up, pay the $25, and then what, and then what? What did you do to make money and make it work for you? Everything seems to be shrouded in mystery, except for the same tactic of telling others what great ‘secret’ to living the dream life you have and you’d like to share it, but then in the end one would have to pay for it without really knowing what one is paying for. (Even the EN site doesn’t provide a proper content breakdown of its modules; it’s the same-sounding ‘promise’ of how the modules are so great for you.) I had to google ‘affiliate marketing’ to even have a basic idea of what it is. Email me?

    • I’m actually good buddies with joe :) we both live in Whistler, British Columbia. Our life stories are actually quite different though haha. Im from Australia and have been travelling most of my adult life, I dont think Joe has ever left Canada. Check my about me page for some of my photos!!

    • Hey Vickie, basically Empower Network is a series of online courses designed to help you learn to be an effective online marketer, its not for everybody, but I personally love it because it lets me earn a living from my laptop whilst travelling the world!! My friend Kam made a video outlining exactly what we do, its a little bit long but it should answer all of the questions you have. Here is the video. At the moment I am just working for Empower, because the commissions are great (100%), and the conversion rates are amazing as well.     I think I’m starting to understand how affiliate marketing works and what Empower Network is all about. A friend and I are looking into it to see if we can fund projects or studies. I personally would like to be able to work on some big projects that may have to be non-profit but will take up as much time as a full-time job. What do you really have to do to be able to earn enough through affiliate marketing?

    Also, if you get a blog as part of the package but you already have a blog/website, how would you recommend using the package one?

    Okay, one more question here: the terms and conditions are pretty detailed….if you’re not able to say anything negative about the network, it’s hard to know exactly what I’m signing up to.

    • Hi Louise,

      I’ll be honest, affiliate marketing isn’t a way to get rich quick. It took me a lot of work, especially in the beginning to get everything set up. But the life it allows me to live is amazing. But if you follow the steps laid out in our courses then you will have success at this.

      I use the Empower blog whenever I am doing any serious or SEO posts because those blogs are noticed by the search engines a lot more, so more traffic gets sent there. This blog is more of my personal one.

      Basically the only negative thing that I can say is that people expect to make a million dollars over night. That just won`t happen, and you should be suspicious of anything that claims to make you that sort of money. But what we have here is a solid plan that has worked for thousands of people, to teach you step by step how to earn good money online.

  124. Thank you for following my blog. As other have explained it’s a too good to be true. The making money from home schemes seem like they are just a waste of time and money. I see you only want the person to invest 25.00 which yeah I’d rather lose 25.00 than thousands as I have with Student loans, but it still makes you skeptical. I have a photography blog and I would love to learn how to get more traffic to it.

    • Hi Vashti, like anything is life, you get out of this what you put in to it. Some people have failed to make money from home, so they start calling everything that they see online a scam or a “scheme”. Personally I put some hard work in to this at the beginning and now it is paying off nicely for me. The problem is that people are looking for a handout or a way to “get rich quick”, and I’m not down with any of that. Have a look through my blog, I have lots of information that might help your photography blog out :)

    • Hi Linus, as long as you have a computer you can do this, you don’t need a laptop, but you would probably be pretty hard pressed to make a living online just from your Android haha

    • Hi!! So what I do through blogging and other means, is promote any product I like, basically any product you can think of is sold online somewhere. The trick is to find a product that pays well. You know already that Empower Network pays 100% commissions, so that is a good place to start, as you can make money selling the product as you are learning, and then branch out into whatever areas you like once you have learnt the necessary skills. If you want more information my friend Kam put together a great video here explaining exactly what we do. Now the video is a little long but it should answer any questions that you have!
