This is a great video that I just found on Youtube by young entrepreneur Ryan Allis. Ryan is 28 years old and recently sold the company that he started up, iContact, in 2012 for $169 million.
In this video series he answers the questions sent in by viewers, this particular video is in answer to the question “What Are The Most Important Lessons You’ve Learned as An Entrepreneur?” Ryan answers by describing his 5 most important lessons:
Life is long, don’t expect to see success immediately, prepare for success in the long term.
Have a bias towards action. Take the first step, get things off the drawing board and into motion.
Have goals, write them down, review them often and judge yourself on your performance.
You have to be doing something that you are passionate about.
You have to know your core motivation, it can’t be just about the money, it has to be about something bigger.
Watch the video below where Ryan expands on these ideas and explains them in detail. For more information on how I am following my passion, making money online and working from home, click here.
